Program Review
Ten-year review potential outcomes
At the conclusion of a review, the Graduate Faculty Executive Committee can choose from a continuum of actions including:
- Letter of congratulations to the department.
- Letter detailing suggestions for the department to improve their graduate program(s).
- Letter detailing suggestions for the department to improve their graduate program(s) with a required written response.
- Letter detailing suggestions for the department to improve their graduate program(s) with a required appearance by a department representative to the GFEC.
- Discussion with appropriate college about further actions.
Letters or discussions will be initiated by the appropriate academic Associate Dean. The Dean of the Graduate School officially notifies the department chair (with a copy to the school/college) within 4 weeks after the action has been determined by the GFEC.
