The Multicultural Graduate Network (MGN) and the Graduate Student Collaborative (GSC) held its annual Peer Mentor Awards celebration at the end of the semester. Thirty six graduate students were honored for their outstanding mentorship by their graduate school colleagues, faculty and staff.
Held in the Main Lounge of the Memorial Union, the celebration featured food, music, and a warm summer breeze. Nominations for the awards were submitted to MGN, and a student committee selected the graduate students who received certificates of recognition, a letter of appreciation from Dean Martin Cadwallader and a gift certificate.
