Program Description
The program promotes research in chemistry and the life sciences that fosters the invention of methods, instruments, and materials that will open up new avenues of research in science. Awards are in the range of $300,000 over the term of the project, usually for a period of three years. Eligibility
Candidates should not have completed more than three full years in his or her tenure-track or other comparable independent research appointment before September 28, 2007. Candidates must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States. The University of Wisconsin may nominate up to two candidates for these awards.
