Keck Foundation Distinguished Young Scholars in Medical Research Program
Program Description
The program supports research in pioneering or emerging
fields of science that address the fundamental mechanisms of human disease
by young investigators who exhibit extraordinary promise for independent
basic biological and medical research and demonstrate a capacity for future
academic leadership. The program will provide up to $1,000,000 over a five year period.

Eligibility
- Candidates must be in in their first full-time faculty position and have held the appointment for at least one year and no more than four years as of December 1, 2008.
- Candidates must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
- UW-Madison may nominate one candidate.
