No institutional internal competition is required for these programs, and it is not necessary to notify the Graduate School of your intent to apply.
Deadline: Pre-proposals (optional) are due November 15, 2007. Full proposals are due January 15, 2008.
The UW System FY 2008-2009 Applied Research Grant (ARG) and ARG-WiTAG programs request for proposals is now available on the UW System web site.

The purpose of these programs is to provide funding for projects directly enhancing the economic development of the state and to encourage faculty to apply their expertise to problems outside academia that improve connections between knowledge and practice that potentially could promote positive changes in the economy in Wisconsin.
